Massage Therapy

Massage is an art of facilitating the flow of energy from one area of the body to another. Massage also helps to release or remove toxic waste from the body. Massage techniques have evolved over time to include head and neck massaging, foot massaging, and hand to toe massaging.

Massage therapy is safe, inexpensive and can be potentially beneficial, not only for physical ailments and dysfunctions, but also for stress, libido enhancement, pain reduction, and enhance the endurance of the body through the peptides, or messenger sugars, released when massage is applied. An aerobic massage therapy is often used, in which the patient takes a mildly oxygenated bath; alternating it with an acidic bath, in order to facilitate oxygenation of the body. Another type of massage therapy is a hot and cold therapy, wherein the physician utilizes a temperature as well as a wave length that crushes away accumulated toxins in the body, thereby encouraging sweating, and a general loosening of the body.

Massage therapy is one of the safest, effective and most cost effective forms of the treatment.  There are many benefits and effects that the therapist and the masseuse can have on the patient and practitioner.
